5 MINUTES MEAL, an Alexa skill case study that allows users to browse several recipes, then select one and have Alexa assist with the meal preparation. Making a meal and operating a cookbook or iPad can be annoying when busy cooking, this is a great opportunity for a voice assistant.

I developed this skill during my Career Foundry UX course, creating my own scenario and brought it to life doing a competitor analysis, frame business goals, consider functional requirements and write user stories.

Meals should be fun and comforting rather than a source of stress. Deciding on a meal shouldn’t be difficult. These quick recipes should help users prepare something in a straightforward way that doesn’t take much of their time.
